Your most important files, opened only when everyone agrees.

Vaultshare locks source code, credentials and company records in an encrypted vault. It opens only when the keyholders you name each enter their own password. Not one partner alone. Not your developer. Not us.

Recoverable without usA documented format and a recovery script for every client.

How it works

Your keyholders are the only people who can open a vault, and they have to act together.

  1. Deposit

We upload your files. They're encrypted in the browser, so our server only ever holds a locked vault.

  2. Accept

Each keyholder confirms the deposit and its fingerprint. Their key is protected by a password only they know.

  3. Request

When the files are needed, a keyholder asks to open the vault. Every other keyholder is told by email.

  4. Approve

The others enter their passwords. Until enough of them do, nothing can be opened, by anyone.

  5. Download

The vault opens in the requester's browser and is checked against its original fingerprint.

What you can protect

Anything your business can't afford to lose, or to have opened by the wrong person.

Source code

Every release of the software your business runs on, held so that no single partner or supplier controls it.

Credentials and recovery codes

Server, domain and hosting logins, held for emergencies, so your systems survive if the one person who knows them can't be reached.

Company records

Shareholder agreements, registers and signed contracts, kept intact and opened only with the agreement of those named.

Designs and know-how

Product designs, formulas and processes: the intellectual property that should stay with the business, whoever leaves.

Built for the moments ownership matters

Partners who must agree

Two shareholders, one codebase. Neither can take it, or hand it to a third party, without the other.

Business continuity

If a key person becomes unreachable, what your business runs on is still there for the people entitled to it.

Supplier due diligence

Show clients and regulators a signed, audited record of exactly what was deposited and who can open it.

What we can and can't do

A vault is only worth having if you don't need to take our word for it.

We can't open your vault.
Encryption happens in your browser. Our server holds locked files and locked key shares, and nothing that can open them.
Your data stays in Mauritius.
Vaults and their backups are kept on our own servers on the island.
You can recover without us.
The vault format is documented and every client receives a recovery script. If we disappeared, your vault wouldn't.
Every action is recorded.
Deposits, requests, approvals and downloads go into a tamper-evident log you can export at any time.
Lost passwords stay lost.
No one can reset a keyholder's password, including us. That's why most vaults use 2 of 3 keyholders.
